About us
Rushe Retriever Camp (RRC) is a collaborative dream in progress between Anney Doucette and Jeff Rushe in Lecanto, Florida.
Our collective competitive dog training experience is diverse and we love working with fellow breeders and exhibitors with all dogs that are eligible to run retriever hunt tests. Our slogan is “For Retrievers and Their People”…we are here to serve you and your goals! We are excited to bring this resource to the dog community of central Florida.
OUR FACILITIES
Located on the gulf shores of central Florida, RRC offers year-round dog training opportunities.
We have several fields and drill yards, and two ponds built specifically for training retrievers, a swim-by pond and a manicured, 1.5 acre technical pond.
Our kennel is indoors and fully climate controlled for the comfort of our boarding dogs year round. We are eager to share our training facilities with local clubs and individuals, please contact us for availability.

PERSONALIZED TRAINING
We are happy to schedule private lessons for retriever field training, and regularly hold camps and workshops for groups to learn to train their retrievers. Contact us to schedule a private lesson or book training time at our fields or ponds.
We welcome clubs looking for grounds to hold their small field events, please contact us for more information.
VACATION BOARDING
RRC is pleased to offer boarding services in our indoor, climate controlled kennel. Roomy runs, specialized flooring, spacious airing yard and daily group romps are sure to make your dog’s stay a fun one. We specialize in show/competition dogs and are happy to comply with special requests for diet and grooming needs. Contact us for pricing and booking.
